About Me

I’m Justin (he/him). I'm a Boston-based freelance creative working at the intersection of food, photography, and mindful living.

I'm a photographer, artist, recipe developer, dedicated yoga student and teacher. I spent over a decade of cooking in high-end professional and private kitchens. I'm a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200) with continuing education in restorative and somatic practices and hold a BFA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College.

You can find me lurking at the farmers market, sitting in the woods, or listening to some band with jangly guitars.

About My Work

My work favors simplicity as a celebration of the subtle and often overlooked. Art is a  love letter to the ever-changing present moment. Like any love, the relationship is nuanced: maker + subject + viewer all in constant evolution. There is magic in the in-between spaces.

Both food and yoga invite us to be in process; both are practices of interfacing with our environment. Both deeply concerned with interconnectivity and moments of practiced action— both conscious and unconscious.

My work seeks reflections of nature in vignettes of the human world. For better or worse, an exploration of how nature moves in relationship with our modern existence.

life is art + art is life
